Note: 6 Kms before you enter Meerut town, there is a right turn to Managal Pandey Nagar (watch out for "Chaudhary Charan Singh University" signboard). Take that road and proceed to Mawana. If you enter Meerut town, you will get stuck in one of the endless traffic snarls that is so common at Meerut.

- Delhi – Meerut : Good but crowded. Start early to avoid the crowds and getting stuck in a traffic jam
- Meerut – Kotdwar : Good roads from Mawana to Kotdwar. Watch out for villagers criss crossing the road and occasional speed breakers.
- Kotdwar – Landsdowne : Scenic Hill road - probably the best part of the drive. Caution: Big trucks coming down could threaten to push you off the road.
