Renigunta - Tirupati Bus Timings
Renigunta is only 12 Kms away from Tirupati. APSRTC runs frequent buses (every 5 minutes) to Tirupati from Renigunta. Bus frequency is low only between 12 PM to 3:30 PM. There are buses from Tirupati to Tirumala once every 2 minutes all through the day. Last train from Renigunta to Tirupati is Sabari Express which is at midnight.
Note : For use of visitors and not OP - If you reach Renigunta station before 8PM, you can collect Sudarshan Darshan Tickets at TTD centre opp railway station for easier darshan.
Stay at Renigunta or Tirupati
Tirupati is much bigger town than Renigunta. You should stay at Tirupati which has accommodation options across all budgets.
There are many hotels very near Tirupati near Railway station ( it will not be a problem if you reach late at Tirupati).

- Tirumala Reseidency
- TTD run Venkateshwara Dharamshala (0877-2225144) opposite Railway station
No shortage of hotels at Tirupati and they work 24 X 7 - do not worry
Temple is at Tirumala
In case you are not aware, Temple is at Tirumala - 20 Kms from Tirupati. There are frequent buses (every 2 minutes from Tirupati from four bus station - one close to Railway station)
BTW, If you are coming by train from Howrah and reaching Renigunta at 11 PM (23:00 hrs), you must be coming by Howrah - Yesvantpur Express which anyway goes all the way to Tirupati.So why get down at Renigunta?
